ROC Hyderabad administers company registration for all of Telangana, so a registered office anywhere from Banjara Hills to Kondapur files with the same office, and the company carries the state code TG in its CIN. The October 2025 MCA restructuring left Telangana untouched, and the Southeastern Region Directorate stays headquartered right here at Hyderabad, now covering Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Telangana. Company and insolvency matters are heard by the NCLT Hyderabad Bench, whose jurisdiction is Telangana only since Andhra Pradesh matters moved to NCLT Amaravati in 2019, and the High Court for the State of Telangana has had its own separate seat at Hyderabad since 1 January 2019.

Unlike some other states, Telangana levies professional tax as a standalone state Act, the Telangana Tax on Professions, Trades, Callings and Employments Act, 1987, administered by the Commercial Taxes Department, Telangana. Employers get a certificate of registration and self employed professionals get a certificate of enrollment; the maximum annual liability is capped at Rs 2,500.

No. Company registration, GST, trademark, MSME and almost every other service here is filed online. The rare exceptions are physical verifications that officers conduct at your premises, and document registrations at a sub registrar office for certain deeds.
